									 Dear MSO Members,

It has been a fruitful and eventful 2017 for the society and I am very pleased to announce that the recent APVRS was a grand success thanks to the APVRS organising committee, our members and speakers who graced the event. Scientifically, the congress was a great success with many new innovations being presented and new collaborations forged. The Malaysian ophthalmic fraternity as a whole has greatly benefitted from this congress and the MSO is proud to have contributed to the progress of medicine in Malaysia.
